How We Help New Members
Our New Members page provides you with
a brief orientation of our club and Rotary in general. As part of our overall
orientation, we will:
- Show you how welcome they are and that we value their ideas and
participation;
- Help you identify areas within the Club in which they would like
to participate, such as Club Service, Community Service, International
Service, Vocational Service, or the Foundation;
- Provide a short history of Rotary and our club and the
projects we have accomplished;
- Introduce you to the club's officers;
- Explain the committee structure;
- Offer to accompany you to your first board meeting,
make-up at another club, and district conference;

- Provide a good knowledge of Rotary both at the international and club
levels;
- Explain attendance guidelines;
- Provide assistance with your first "classification" talk,
i.e., we want to get to know you better;
- Keep you interested and active in the club through regular contact.
